How should I arrive to my Curly Cut Appointment?

If you have Looser waves or curls please arrive with zero to little product.

For tighter curls please arrive with 1-3 day old wash and go styling.

-To analyze your curls/coils please come with 1)your hair down

2)no twist outs. ponytails or clips please

3)Hair Fully dry

How should I arrive to my color appointment?

For coily please arrive with clean hair in a stretched state with four big twists.

For Curly hair, come with clean hair down, with nothing in.

Where are we located?

We are located in NoDa Art District location. We are a small studio and do not take walk ins.

We are a Curly Focused salon and offer Curly Cuts,Color, Textured precision cuts, Flat Twists, and Silk presses seasonally.


Policies

Reserving Appointments

When reserving appointment, please know that you are reserving time dedicated to you. Canceling after 48 hr period deeply impacts business. Although unpredictable circumstances arise, 50% of the service amount will be due at the time of cancellation.Please note that once you cancel your appointment your deposit is forfeited.

-Booking requires a 20% deposits that is non-refundable and transferable once 30 days from the original date only.We understand life happens and appreciate your business.

-No shows will result in full amount of service

-Grace period 15 mins after scheduled appointment and your appointment may be cut short or cancelled.

Appointment reminders are sent out 72hrs prior to your service.Please note that no changes can be made to the service after that notice.

Curl Patterns

Please note that The Natural Spot is a Curl Focused salon. We do not work with relaxers, heat or chemically trained hair, texturizers, or transitioning hair.

Guest & Children

At this time we only work with guests over 12. We are also unable to accommodate any additional guests in the salon. Please do not schedule appointments for anyone under 12. Thank you for understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Pricing

Pricing at The Natural Spot is based on the average amount of time it takes to perform the desired service, products used to complete the service and the level of skill required to perform the service. Prices listed may be increased by length, density, preparation of worked performed, and if additional time or product is needed to perform the service and are subject to change. If you have specific questions on pricing, please inquire prior to the day of service.

Service Guarantee

We pride ourselves on providing all clients with fantastic service and quality customer care. We are professional, highly- skilled and experienced, and will provide you with the best hair care services possible.

If you are not satisfied with the results of your salon service, due to a possible error by us, please contact the salon within 48 hours of your appointment. We will ask you for photos of your hair, and if there is an error on our part, we are able to provide a complimentary adjustment within 5-10 business days of your appointment date. We do not offer refunds on salon services. Hair color services are guaranteed if you purchase the recommended products at the time of your appointment only.

If you’re not happy with your product purchase, you may return unopened products within 7 days of purchase for product credit. Product credit must be used toward products and cannot be used toward services. We are happy to assist in recommending different products.

 

ALLERGIES, MEDICAL CONDITIONS/SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS

Due to staff and client sensitivity, please refrain from wearing synthetic aromas/perfumes/cologne. Please inform staff of gluten, nut allergies etc.  Some cosmetic products include them. Our goal is to make you comfortable during your appointment. Please notify us of special requests!
